People with a psychosocial disability, that is likely to be permanent, may qualify for NDIS funded support.
To become and NDIS participant you need to experience psychosocial disability in three ways:
- Is likely to be permanent or lifelong
- Significantly affects everyday tasks and ability to participate in activities
- Likely to require support for the remainder of your life
You will only be eligible fir the NDIS if your treating clinician confirms that your impairment is likely to remain across your lifetime.
